What is NOT in GBB products?

It’s a LONG list!

Our products are made without fragrance, talc, petroleum, mineral oil, silicon, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, gluten, artificial preservatives, artificial emulsifiers, lanolin, or formaldehyde. Also, none of those “Lake” colors you see in so many other commercial cosmetics.

Is there any sunscreen in GBB bronzers?

No. While we are all in favor of better sun protection, our products are not intended to provide that protection.

Do you use alcohol in GBB products?

Yes, but not the drying kind. We use FATTY alcohols in some of our products, such as cetyl alcohol (derived from natural sources), which is oil-soluble, and has emollient properties.

Do you use water in GBB products?

No. Our products are strictly anhydrous. As a result, our products are SUPER concentrated, so just a little bit goes a long way.

Do you use Carmine as a colorant in GBB products?

No. Even though carmine is all natural, it’s non-vegan.

Do you use any nut-based oils in GBB products?

No.

Are your products Gluten Free?

Yes!

Are GBB products Vegan?

Absolutely! We do not use ingredients derived from animals, such as tallow (animal fat).

Are your products lab-tested for safety?

Yes!

What is the best way to apply or blend GBB makeup products?

With the exception of our lipsticks, clean and dry fingers typically work best for our blushes. A makeup sponge or brush can be used to blend any one of our multi-stick or bronzer products.

What is the shelf life of an unopened GBB product?

Shelf life can vary, depending on the product, how it is used, and how it is stored.
An unopened GBB product stored at a moderate temperature should last roughly two years. Changes in temperature (such as cold/dry vs. humid) can alter the shelf life. We use d-alpha tocopherols (Vitamin E), which are natural antioxidants that prevent oxidation and extend the shelf life of our products. They can also help protect from rancidity and degradation caused by exposure to air, light, and heat. We also produce in small batches, so you won’t find any GBB products gathering dust in a warehouse.

Are your products available in stores?

Not currently. We exclusively sell online, as well as the occasional farmer’s market.
